Junior Chess

Congratulations to Nayan who scored the most points by a junior member in the adult competitions last season and therefore became the winner of the Peter Alford Cup!

Just a reminder that both the adult and junior clubs pause for the summer after the last meeting on Tuesday 5th July. We will return in September, exact date to be advised.

Just a reminder for parents that as advised by Mike there is no junior chess tomorrow, back next week.

Update from Mike...

Just a quick note to confirm that the junior club is back on 1st February as Mike is not available until then.

Discussions are ongoing to see if the junior club can return in some form in October. I will email parents when more detail is known.

All parents should have received an email from me announcing the suspension of the junior club until the Easter holidays due to the coronavirus.
